Hi
I have recently joined this forum because my W810i has developed a fault.
When I turn on the phone, the screen flashes black & white. When I connect the phone to the computer via the USB, the screen appears as normal and I can see the contents of my pictures. Folders. When I disconnect, the phone turns off. I try turning on again and it flashes black & white again.
I have tried using XS++ to flash the phone, (I have very limited knowledge of this process but have read your beginners guide), when XS++ starts, the installation wizard starts up and I try installing the drivers (obtained from http://ma3-origin.extranet.sonyericsson.com/drivers/).
This is where it starts to go wrong as I cannot get XS++ to connect to the W810.
Obviously I am doing some thing wrong and any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you for your time
Derek
