Full Version: What Does This Script Do?

I downloaded and installed FARManager and the JDFlasher plugin. Before connecting my K750i, I took a look at the scripts it would run. My phone is a CID 36 RED on DB2010 and "bfs" is the FAR menu choice to give me access to the file system so, if I understand it correctly, the relevant script snippet is this:

CODE
<device name="k750">
  <cid num="36" color="red">
...
    <bfs>
      <qhldr>050404 1011 COMPACTPRODUCTION_ID_LOADER R2F.2010_0_BLUE</qhldr>
      <activateloader/>
      <cmd3c>040319 0923 COMPACTCERTLOADER R2E.2010_0_BLUE</cmd3c>
      <hole3e>r2e_patch</hole3e>
      <activateloader/>
      <cmd3c>db2010_cid49brown_cs_V23.bin</cmd3c>
      <activatecsloader/>
    </bfs>
  </cid>

This script snippet suggests to me that it will flash my phone to CID 49 BROWN before giving me access to the file system. Is that what will happen?

No, it'll send a CS loader that's designed for CID 49 BROWNS, but seems to work with CID 36 REDs. No flashing of firmware or EROM. and CIDs cannot be upgraded on DB2010s smile.gif

Thanks; that's a relief. What's a CS loader?
