Full Version: Copy Files from My K750i

I want to copy some "protected content" games off my K750i so I can try them on my new K850i. Once again, the SE PC suite is useless for the job since the files are hidden from me, and using FSX in XS++ let's me see the files but doesn't let me "download" them to my PC. However, XS++ did tell me the K750i is a CID36 RED and DB2010.

I've installed FARManager on my PC and got JDFlasher from the link in this post. Now I expected JDFlasher to be a generic tool for doing things with a SE phone, but the version I've got seems to come with a load of preset scripts that do god-knows-what. Can someone assure me that the JDFlasher I have is harmless and will simply let me access files in my phone without doing any flashing (particularly the K750 script).

Also can someone give me some guidance on how FAR and JDFlasher work for what I want to do - the tutorials are all about flashing some thing on the phone, and there is no other documentation that makes sense to a complete newbie like me.

Many thanks.

How?

theres a tut on this site somewhere have a search...
but it involves two softwares.... SEFStool and main2raw (if im correct)
Covert your FS to raw format...
then drag that to SEFStool and thats youre Filesystem extracted!

Howver there might be a problem with SEFStool so youve got to use cmd and type in the correct path and etc etc...

have a search wink.gif

If you've got a RED 36, you can use SEFP instead. It works a lot easier than JDFlasher. Here's my guide, except with CID 36, you don't have to flash a fake MAIN or a REST, just go straight in and use FAR+SEFP smile.gif

those games are 176x220 resolution and k850 has 240x320 resolution...why u want that?
use far manager with sefp plugin, its very fast

I was getting worried there. The guide suggested I flash my phone before starting - something I absolutely DO NOT want to do. So SEFP is another FAR plugin? Do you have a download link?

... because I like them better than the "pool demo" and "impossible tennis" games and the uselss "better pictures for dummies" already on my K850i. So long as they work (with a border?) I'll be happy, even with the reduced resolution.

At least Aeromission 3D is available in 240x320. Send me a PM.

there are sooo many games for your rezolution...

SEFP is a FAR Plugin. And in my guide there's no true flashing of firmware involved, and all fake flashing only applies to CID 49 which requires breakin loaders. Since you're CID36 you don't need loaders, just fire up SEFP and load FS mode. Look at the quickstart guide in my sig, it contains the link to the R&D supersticky which contains all the SEFP related stuff
Astro11
Thanks for that. Unfortunately, the SEFP info linked to from the R&D supersticky only had dead links (in russian: Ошибка 404. Документ не найден.). Do you have a working, up-to-date download links for SEFP (I believe I need to install 0.10.0.44 and 0.10.0.51)?
