i have lotsa png icons from this website and i'm trying to make VKP patches but when i use imagetooldb2020 when i try to change the graphics it says the file size is too big.

how do i make the png's smaller using pngcrush/optipng/pngoptimizer?

Most of the pngs are already optimised, although when you save them with PS they auto optimise. I suggest you seperate them into more managable groups, then use a patch combiner if you're avoiding multipatching
