Hi guys,

I've been searched around the forum and google for my problem but coundn't find the right solution to solve it. So i'm creating new thread here to see if I can get any help to get the phone back working. All the helps are much appreciated! Thank You!

Here comes the problem; I tried to put some patches to my phone via setool2lite and I accidently hit the "Write GDFS" button instead of "Write SCRIPT".

Here's the log of that process

I tried to turn the phone on but it won't turn on. Whenever I hit the power button, it show the SE Logo and the white screen blinking. Then I searched and tried so many different method which I couldn't remember and now when I go to XS++, the log looks like this

now everytime I try to turn on the phone, it stuck at the "please wait" screen forever!

So my question is, can my phone be fixed or is it dead for good?
If yes, then what do I have to do to bring it back?

Thank you very much!

Try flashing your backed up GDFS.
eyeyousee
yeah that's the only thing you can do! Flashing your own backup GDFS!

you can do it in a db2010 cid 49 like w700 / w810 / w300 / z550 / k310 with no problems, tested already, you only need a gdfs i bin fogormat and the correct skiwant otp patch did you have those?

will this GDFS from iProTebe work?? http://www.iprotebe.cz/download-w810_gdfs.rar-f261248.html

I really don't understand why people don't make GDFS backups. It's the most basic of basics

Now, lets say you didn't back up the phones GDFS and did something to screw it up. Then you have a problem, because rewriting it with another phones GDFS will screw the security units and the phone will be bricked. Generally a bad thing, right ?.

Don't try to write a GDFS for another phone, ever. But in this case I quote below

Hopefully, you will not have to read this section. But, if you have have managed to corrupt your GDFS, and do not have a back-up... this should fix the problem. Hopefully you already have SETool2 Lite... if not, download that and Clean_W810_GDFS.rar from my eSnips folder. Now, follow these steps:

1. In SETool2 Lite, add the GDFS file (extract from the .rar file!) into the MISC. Box.
2. Press Write GDFS, and then connect your phone like explained above in the patching section.
3. SETool2 Lite will write the GDFS file to your phone.
4. After that, disconnect from SETool2 Lite. Then, you will press the Repair/Unlock button in SETool2 Lite, and connect your phone.
5. Unlocking the GDFS file will enable it to work on your phone =D Hopefully your phone is now working (might require a new MAIN, FS, and Custompack flash)

THIS IS ONLY TO BE DONE IN A LAST-DITCH ATTEMPT TO MAKE YOUR PHONE WORK!!! ALWAYS TRY ALTERNATIVE METHODS OF FIXING THE PHONE!

This method only applies to W810 CID 49 RED, and I hope your is, if so click here
And don't blame me if it doesn't work because I've never tried it smile.gif and someone is having a similar problem here
There's mention of need of a service cable
EDIT: URL change, soooo sleepy

I never knew about the GDFS. If I know about it, then I would've had backed it up!
