Posted yesterday in the grown up section, then found I should have perhaps posted here.
I trying to go from vodafone to Virgin.
Before the new sim arrives I thought I debrand in advance. I ran through the tutorials - everything went as stated.
I'm not tryna customise anything complicated. Im just flashing the main,fs, cda europe\4 & unlock.vkb
Fitted my work t-mobile sim and got signal - great.
However photos are now displayed corrupt, some of the tumbnails view OK, but viewing all photos are blank. If I rotate them and zoom, they appear but corrupted with half the colour missing and all shifted across.
Putting the memory card in my works K750, the photos are OK, so they haven't actually been corrupted, it appears the new firmware on the W810 isn't decoding the jpegs correctly.
I re-flashed everything last night again.
Now when I try to use setool2lite to apply the remove sim lock.vkp - I just get scrolling progress bar (went straight through 1st time). When I STOP I just get :-
Going to execute VKP script....
Abort all operations.
phone pre-boot failed,possible RECOVERY needed.
Elapsed:162 secs.
Obviously I get the a message that the incorrect SIM installed, when I now try the T-Mobile sim.
At least to start with yesterday, I had a phone that was debranded, now its back as branded and is displaying corrupt photos. (Might as well not have bothered!)
Could anyone help on either issue?

.....Out of interest I understand that XS++ wont flash the unlock.vkb on w810 - why would there be a difference and it work on other phones? (If too complicated then fair-enough!)
