Well, I tried to install new acoustic drivers but there were 98 files, so I trought I copy the folder instead of files. I deleted my old acoustic folder from phone and tried to copy new acoustic folder there but it keeps going to 'video' folder. Did I just killed my phone? ohmy.gif
I have W300i, I use Far and I'm so noob to flashing.

Browse to Ifs/settings/
Then make a new folder 'acoustics' using the makedir command, it's F6, F7 or F8 I think
Then go to the folder where you have the acoustic APF files, then select them all by holding shift and scrolling down and drag them into the acoustics folder. All done wink.gif

Dude... You just saved my life. Really.
Btw, could you help me with patching? When I first patch I need to make quick access patch. For that I need .nbm file ( or something ). Where can I get that?
steadyontherem8
Use qamaker with setool2lt, it's much more n00b friendly.

Yea, but before I can make quick access patch I need some kind of .mbn file. Where can I get that?
steadyontherem8
Have you got a main file?

No.
steadyontherem8
You need one, tell me your region. By the way, wizaj do you have topsony access? I don't sad.gif
WizaJ
You need to find the mbn MAIN file for your PARTICULAR firmware first, then you can generate the qa patch.
WizaJ
Oh yeah you're welcome Kida laugh.gif
and no I also don't have TopSony access sad.gif I want to buy it when I buy my new phone though, then maybe we can work something out wink.gif

http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl...49%2B%26hl%3Den for main generic

http://www.esnips.com/doc/8901349f-91da-40...FS_BALTIC_RED49 for fs (if you want it, main is used to patch)

Use XS++ custom packs that are inbuilt.
WizaJ
Dang you steady wink.gif
I almost had the links before you did!
steadyontherem8
Heheh, I asked you if you had topsony access because otherwise you would beat me to files wink.gif

Do I have to choose W300_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_JE_RED49 or some kind europe? Cause there isn't baltic ones. ( doh sry, I'm noob )
WizaJ
Use W300_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_JE_RED49
BALTIC is the custpack you have, not your MAIN

@Steady
Clever man wink.gif
Kida
Well, I can't download this MAIN GENERIC right now. Gonna try tomorrow.
Thanks guys.

Welcome, you are. Young padawan

btw, why not DL it now? lol.gif
Kida
Ok, downloaded this .mbn file now. Before I apply this qa patch, do I have to flash MAIN firmware first using XS++?
steadyontherem8
No, you flash the patch with the main (put patch in miscellaneous files in setool2lt).

All I need to do is plug the phone, qa patch it and then it's ready to use?
Sry for asking so many questions but I'm really afraid that I kill my phone.
