Hi, i'm using a k800i. I'm actually new to all this stuff. I've got a xs++ v2.2. I'm just wondering how to flash my phone and patch or what can i do to use menus normal k800is' can't.

I really like this theme, I know I have to flash before I use and I hope someone can explain it to me

you cant use flash themes on k800 but you can change the menu icons

how can i change the menu icons?

download a menu pack from here with all the menu icons and menu.ml you have to register first its free
connect your phone with xs++ and go to fsx click on start fsx
go into tpa/preset/system/menu
delete or overwrite the current menu.ml
drag and drop the menu icons and menu.ml you downloaded into tpa/preset/system/menu in the box on the right called enumerated files
click on shutdown and your done
if you dont like the menu you can delete by deleting everything from tpa/preset/system/menu and download your original menu.ml file from iprotebe.cz and drag that into tpa/preset/system/menu
then you have your original menu

K800 doesnt support flash menus,but u can use gif menus that look like flash

You can change the battery icon by patching sysgrafix vkp's.

Use GFX patches. You can install patches using JDFlasher or Setools.

where do i get gfxpatches for k800i? ee i've got xs++ 3.1 will that help?

dude! use search damnit! there's a whole damn topic of 88 pages running about K800i gfx patches! NO xs++ 3.1 isnt enough, use setool2lite 1.11

I searched and i see a bunch of codes and stuff. I don't understand. I'm new here.
Now that I've got the setool, what do i do to flash the battery icon into my phone? whats gfx patch?

why are there tutorials man search the one on how to apply patches with setool
for the codes, you have to copy paste everything codes in notepad and file save as.rename the patch whatever you want and at the end write .vkp eg,bluebattery.vkp.save as type all files and ansi text encoding.
and there you have your battery patch

No, you have to change to that firmware to use those patches.

how do i update firmware? where would i place the firmware file on my k800?
do i need to use XS++?

You do need to connect XS++ and flash a generic MAIN (mbn) file.
