I'm trying to unlock my K610i with SEtoollite. As far as I understand it I have to make a quick access patch and then flash that with the main firmware.

But when read GDFS and put it into the QA maker it says its not a BABE!! What is this?

I tried to use a simox sim unlock patch generator but it says the following.

to patch you first drag main firmware into qamaker then open that file in setool misc files and then open original main in setool click on bypass security and then click on flash after that you can apply unlock patch
i dont know about your read gdfs ploblem though

I'm only following instruction given....

I have my bin file and have put into the the QAmaker but i wont create quick access vtp file

your gdfs isn't your main firmware, you need a copy of your main firmware in .mbn format.

Right so, Can I ask where I would get this? its R1JE001 i think?

R1JE001 is old firmware and may be difficult to find, but search www.4shared.com www.google.com www.topsony.com www.seusers.com www.shareminer.com

Cannot find this firmware anywhere does anybody have it?

Thanks for that, I tried it this morning and almost managed to get it finished but something went wrong near the end.

Phone still works. In college at the moment but I'll get back to you this evening.
