Hi, I'm new here. I can't seem to find some guide or step by step process of unlocking a red cid36 k750. All I saw was the k750 to w800 and i only wanted to remove the simlock from a network. Also I don't quite get the remove sim lock patch.

My question is
What firmware do I need to use in XS++and in the patch generator? Is it the R1N035?
Also, there are many kinds of R1N035, what shall I use?
Do you need to flash before being able to unlock using the patch?
What is CDA and its relation to the firmware and FS?
Can you provide some step by step unlocking of red cid36 k750?
Is flashing the same as/ or somewhat like formatting in other terms?
What exactly happens to your phone when you flash it? Because from what I see from guides, you put a main and fs then flash it.

Also, can I unlock my k510?

I have farmanager with sefp and xs++3.1 darwin.
Please help, I'm getting confused with too many different softwares already and if its possible to use just these 2 software, the better.

P.S. I forgot to ask, can I use cid49 firmware on the cid36? This is because I have read some forums and guides and some are saying to upgrade to cid49. Also, is it possible to unlock without deleting all data?

Nope, it isn't possible without losing all the data so backup with MyPhoneExplorer. Yes you can upgrade to CID49.

You can also use setool2lt for flashing as well if you want- look in Research and Development section. It is easier when unlocking to use setool2lt.

You need R1DB001 APAC_1 FS CID49 and choose your main that is suitable.

CDA is the number that is stored in the custom pack (the custom pack finalizes the file system or fs)

When you flash it, it changes the software to a newer update of the firmware which may have fixed bugs and updated stuff.

No you can't because K510 is CID50 which is not supported by the patcher.

no you can't use cid:49 firmware on a cid:36 it won't work and might brick the phone so i wouldn't recommend trying it, cid:36 can be patched easily using far+sepf you need a copy of your main firmware and the patch unlock genrator to make a unlock patch.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have already seen the two topics, the simox and the setool2 and there are no guide on how to patch or flash the cid36 phone. Is it ok to upgrade to cid49? How do i do it? What will be its effect on the phone? Also, how do you know the firmware that is compatible with my phone?

you can't upgrade db2010 cid:36 to cid:49 it's not possible, when connected to far+sepf you willl see MAIN & FS
enter main then with the right side of far browse to your patch (.vkp file) then press F5.

Can I use any k750 cid36 firmware on the remove simlock generator? Where can I get firmware files because I can't download firmwares at topsony even if I registered already.

For cid36 phones, is it direct patching using far or do I still need flash first? Because I have seen somewhere in the forum that for cid36, no need to flash the firmware file and the rest file or something like that.

Also, how do I unlock the k750? Because I wanted to be very sure first before doing something on my phone.
