Hi, i've have converted my k800i to the k810i firmware but im having a few problems. Everytime i start up the phone it comes up saying "error occur in the menu.ml file this may render the menu unusable" i have applied a few patches aswell, but they dont work either. how can i solve this problem and re-apply patches to my phone.

u dont need any patches just find a k810i custom pack flash that to u phone and all will be fine

You need to flash your original K810i menu.ml, here is one.
