Was it off when it got damaged? Did you take the battery out immediately? Do you try turning it on after it got damaged?

If you tried turning the phone on again before giving it time to dry out, then you've probably written it off.
Mattwood
soak in a IPA bath for a little while (ultrasonic cleaners are better for about 30min - 1 hour again IPA solution) scrub with a brush, use a fiber pen to get corrosion off metal parts and tracks.

leave on a radiator (on a cloth) for a hour or so, try to power on/flash the handset...

damage to display/display flex normally require replacement parts anyway
