Hi guys I recently used xs++ to change my sons w580i sim code because he forgot it, duh. Now the camera wont work though it says another application running.

I have read a few tuts on here as to how to install new drivers but the phone has cid53 and xs++ doesnt seem to support this.

Does anyone know of a way I can get it sorted as its now drivivng me and my son round the twist!!!

Many Thanks

If you can find CID53 firmware, then you can use jdflasher and FAR Manager to flash.

you can fully flash a db2020 cid:53 open your eyes
first install far manager & jdflasher & cid:53 plug-in's
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=17857

then flash the same way as shown here it's the same for cid:52 & cid:53

Thanks for the replies I will give it a go tomorrow. If I mess this up in any way will it brick my boys phone completely? I would rather him have a cameraless phone than no phone at all.

cheers

Sorry, read wrongly. =X

You could send it in for servicing, I think.
