Right i have downloaded the R6BC002 W580i Lock icons patch and Volume bar vista v2 patch but i am really stuck, normally patches tell you where to place the images and under what hex code if they change one certain image but these patches dont, and they didnt even come with the images needed... it said it was made by imgtool or something. so... erm here goes...

do i just patch the phone with that patch as it does seem quite long compared to a normal patch so will the image be coded somehow in the patch?

i dont want to just flash my mobile and find that nothing has changed or it has broken... i have missed a couple of weeks because i have been on holiday in Portugal and so have no idea on how to patch sysgfx on w580 or elves etc... a bit of help would be REALLY appreciated...

AFAIK, Gfx patching for Db2020 (that includes you) is simply putting the putch in SETool and press 'write script', so no more SysGfx patch style.
I believe the images are re-coded to work in a patch

ok thanx btw have you heard if the simox autopatch unlocker works on db2020 cid52 w580 r6bc002 because i need to reunlock my mobile after enabling patching on it and i really cant afford to have it re-unlocked again...

no reason why it shouldn't work it's made to work with nearly all firmwares

ok 1 more problem... i wanted the patches in the top 3 posts from http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtop...0416&st=683 but they arent for r6bc002... can some1 convert / port them for me as i have no idea (other than flashing the patch) what i am doing with patches...

Gfx patches cant be ported they must be remade.

Ok.. thing is i am editting the walkman v2 skin.xml editor due to popular request and so won't have the time to do both... if someone will be able to remake them for me so i can work on the editor it will be much appreciated

you can re-make them your-self you need the .pngs and the db2020 imaging tool.

where will i get the png's from and like i said i wont have the time to do that AND the program
