Hey guys I've downloaded the w880i service manual but there are some really vital pictures missing from it! Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the srevice manual which has all the pictures? Thanks.

This is the service manual released by and have all the pictures they think repair centres require. If there are any pictures you require you will need someone with a W880i to take it apart and post them for you

This is one of the most informative thread! Though I have opened my K810 apart without a manual it gives more ideas or knowledge about my phone's interior.

Hmmm it seems as if some of the pictures are supposed to be there, but are missing. There are like a line of pictures that are fine, but then a few are missing. =(

Either way, I'm looking for a guide on how to change the BACK faceplate of the w880i. Cheers.

I was looking for the one for W850, Is really useful but I remember there are some service manual with a part that handles diagnostics of common problems in the phones.

Anybody have the V800 service manual like this one, but in english?

The w880i manual has lots of info except the bit I am after. I need to change the microphone. Has anyone any ideas where I can find how to do it?

On page 12 of the manual, under section 2.1.5 Circuit Board Removal, there a small circle in the picture. Also on page 13, just right to the first arrow in pic no 3. That the mic. The mic most probably fitted by a spring.

nordingh thanks for a super fast response. I thought I had the mic but just cant move it - can't see how it is held in place and did not want to snap anything.

After my warranty period finished on my K700i I tried to take it apart and see what's inside, but discovered that right after removing the cover, there were screws for which I didn't have a correct screwdriver oh well, mabie some other time... Good collection of manuals, though Good for when you want to mod your phone...

You should've put it in some rice as soon as you spilt some stuff on it. You can't repare this at home... no way man, unless the rice thing still works, although I doubt it...

I would remove the battery and use a hair dryer. Although, opening it and letting it dry on shadow is better.
