hi,
i've been reading alot about flashing and debranding my phone. i d/l all the necessary files and decided i'll use XS++ v3.1 (Darwin) as my flashing/debranding helper....
when i connect the phone xs++ asks me if i want to upgrade to CID52. i accept, the program runs and ends with a successfull message.
when i connct again via x++, i get the upgrade message again!
what is the reason 4 that??

just download a gdfs script and apply it with xs++ (did you turn the phone on befor you connected it back to xs++ keep it off and just tak out the batt then put the batt back in then run xs++ again)

umm, what do you mean by "gdfs script" ?

nope. i don't really use GDFS scripts but i guess it should be a .bin file.

isn't xs++ suppose to have CID52 for W880i when it asks if i want to upgrade? if it doesn't, what am i supposed to do??

supposed to. but of lately, i heard the erom upgrade is prevented by the IMEI... i have no idea why.

let's say that is true, what will happen if i flash my phone without using xs++ option to upgrade??

no idea. i have no phone so i can't really say what to do. i'm supposed to get a W850 like 4 days ago, i'm p!ssed about this. i just give up on waiting for it.

U need gdfs scripts to use with xs++ ur phone model need that scripts to be writed i think

Flash EROM CID as main, I done it to a K510 and it worked.

I never upgrade my CID and my phone flashes fine....both CID 49 K800, and CID 52 K800

Silly question from me, but did you take out the battery for 20 seconds, then turn the phone on?

If you didnt, do the XS++ script again and then take the battery out etc
