Hi all
Today I bought a pre-paid S500i (Virgin Network, Australia). I bought it after looking at several reviews and videos. One of the reasons I got it was because of the super-sweet themes. However, Virgin has put on their own firmware, with some crappy menu that doesn't change with the theme.
So I'd appreciate it very much if someone could give me the link(s) to download the correct (Australian) firmware files. I have XS++ 1.68 Beta, which I got in a download with some firmware files that were European. I should be able to puzzle out how to use the program, but a some instructions would be pretty handy.

download xs++ 3.1 don't use the old one you have then go to

Ok cool, I downloaded that XS++. I don't know the difference between the option in the link you gave me, so I chose this one: R8BA024
In that, there are two files:
S500_R8BA024_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED52.rar SiViN - S79x/R0/CM0
S500_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LY_RED52.rar SiViN - S76x/R2 (3x)/CM0
Will these work fine with an Australian bought phone?
Also, is it worth it to flash to the W580. Would it be simpler just to debrand the s500i?

flashing to w580 would be better and you can flash an australian bougth phone flash it pack up them and mbn is the main and flash them seperatly and dont forget to costumize or will get configeration error contact operator use fsx and put the Customization Pack file in tpa present costum and dont forget to unrar everything
