Hey guys...

Srry for the question

, but i can' t make it out of all the different topics in all the forums floating round the net.

I recently updated my phone using se update service (SEUS?).

But i don't really know how to flash my phone, because i dont know what firmware to use and what program...
I read the guide on XS++ but there i got stuck because you had to have a firmware file, which i didnt.

And like the title said, i only want to flash it because of the great flash themes i saw on youtube and this forum...

The info bout my phone is (got it from XS++):

Rob, W800 has only 1 FW that supports Flashlite, and it is very old, thus very, but very buggy. From what I hear, it is not advised to get that one. What you could do, is get some fake flash themes. These are actually gifs that look like flash themes, and work on every W800 FW.

But what about those movies on youtube? They all show those very great flash themes on their w800's?

Especially the last movie, that's exactly what i want!! Isn't that possible for my phone?

And the gif i read that they only had a 256 color in it?

Dude, the menus used in those videos are animated gif menus... You can tell as they show the battery on top in menu. Check a W810 flash theme vid, and you will see it's fullscreen. The last video though has proper Flashlite, but it's that one buggy FW I told you about. It can however not set real flashthemes, only as startup screen.

yea the videos are fake ! not flash menu.. r1L002 sw supports swf but not for menu; only for wallpaper/screensaver.. the best is r1bd001 for w800. swf is not important =)

Didnt really notice the diferences

Bit dissapointed it couldnt really support flash themes even when flashed...

But the way you mentioned how do i do that then? Thats a patch isnt it? That 'new sysgfx with start up screens 2.0 vkp' , or is it something else?
I want to set it looking like flash lite as close as possible, can i do that with the patch? I had a theme in mind like iphone r something?

No, no need of patching: you need a modified menu.ml and icons you put in the same folder as that menu. Search the forum for that.
