I have a W810 Cingular phone that I want to debranded and unlock it, have been researching the site and I think I got what I need to accomplish my goal, just need a confirmation that I am heading in the right direction, and please correct me if you see that I am doing something wrong.

1- Debranding using X++ with the following files:
a) Main file is W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn
b) FS file is W810_R4ED001_FS_AMERICA_1_RED49.fbn
c) Custpack is W810_CDA102555_107_Generic_America_2 ====> Note I could not find America_2, hope this will work, but I am not sure about it.

2- To unlock the phone using setool2lite V1.11:
a) Chose W810 from the phone list
b) put REMOVE SIM LOOKW810R4EA031.VKP in Misc file
c) Click on Write Script.

Do I have to reflash the Main while writing the VKP file?

Spot on! (Means everything's good). Then to unlock it: everything is right, but you don't need to reflash the main. If you reflash the MAIN, the patch you just added would be gone Good luck and if you need any clarification you can always look at my guide (link is in my signature). Good luck!

Thanks a MILLION for your reply! One last thing I want to make sure about it. I also had W580i phone that I recently unbrand it, I installed the driver for W580 on my laptop, when I am working on W810i do I need to install a new phone driver for it, or the W580 drivers will work? I guess my question is different phone model requires new driver? or it's one driver for all phones?
