can anyone help me?... i can't install any walkman skin on a
sysgfx patch 1.1 (w800i r1bc002).

i cant get it to work...

i thought there's sysgfx 2.0 for w800r1bc002....
you need to explain what you did so we can tell you what's wrong

yes i have that patch...sysgfx 2.0 gives me a mismatch error...
so i used sysgfx 1.1 with no errors.
although i've tried to continue to patch sysgfx 2.0 to my phone,
the skins does not work so i switched back to sysgfx 1.1.
does sysgfx 1.1 support walkman skin sysgfx?

sysgfx means it supports everything.....including walkman
read modify look of media player thread to learn how to use it

I patch my phone with sysgfx 2.0 before. I also get mismatch error. I just patch it and it works.

Don't use version 1.1, got some bug.

ya, i agree with that...
the obvious bugs that im encountering is the phone shutsdown without the shutdown logo and i cant browse
my pictures in the file manager.they only appear as an icon.they just blackout...

i've read modify look of media player thread, but i was trying to install the walkman skin incuded in the
sysgfx pack...like toshara or signature boy gfx pack.. the xxxx.png files... i've succesfully installed the .gif
skins for the walkman skins but not the xxxx.png files... i've used the sysgfx 1.1 and 2.0 but none of them worked...

those gif skins are the worst way to change your walkman skin. sysgfx is way much better.

in any case, to simplify things, tell me what you did, how you apply the patches etc in detail

ya, i second to that happy.gif . its the worst way to change the walkman skin.

1. i applied the sysgfx 1.1/2.0 patch...

2. copy the xxxx.png to the folder which i created /tpa/user/image/sysgfx

3. restarted my phone.

4. after that, the skins worked(signal,battery skins etc...) but not the walkman skin.

did i miss something?

too bad, i'm sorry, i can't find anything wrong, maybe the patch doesn't support walkman...but mine's sysgfx 1.1 on r1bd001 and it supports walkman skins, did you use the old method? then apply sysgfx and didn't remove the files you placed for the first method?

i think i'll try to change my firmware, maybe that would do the trick...
i'm still using W800i R1BC002, i'll try to use R1BD001 instead..
i'll let you if it will work....tnx..

by the way what do you mean by "the old method"?

at last it worked!!! thumbsup.gif

i just reflashed my phone with W800i R1BD001..
and it worked.i finally installed the walkman skin...
the problem is the firmware...(R1BC002)

Did it work after reflashing with R1BD001?

Isn't the patch meant for R1BC002? confused.gif

yea, that's the weird thing too, maybe the patch is wrongly labeled or somewhat. anyways, there's a real sysgfx patch for r1bd001 so i suggest you use that if you're r1bd001 or go to mobilefree.ru and look for the r1bc002 sysgfx patch there. it's bound to be correct if it's there

I am using R1BC002 currently. Didn't find any sysgfx patch for the same at http://mobilefree.ru/patches/viewcat.php%3Fcid%3D4

This is what XS++ shows when I connect my cell (attached)

Hell, I can't understand what's wrong.
