Hi!
I'm owning a K790i, and i had the same problem about some weeks ago. I tried every method i foud in forums, but nons of them worked... :-(
But i read somewhere that there are an application, which name is kulankendi. I downloaded it and i managed to repair my phone with it. :-D
Here is the link: http://www.kulankendi.com/index2.php?pStrona=download
Download the first option, then start the app. Thick in erom update, than click on flash phone. I had to do it twice, i dont know why but the first time it didnt work...

I hope it will be useful for u!
