I have w580i and I wonder if there's anyway to change media net button to a regular shortcut button?

I would like to make it point to camera instead of internet browser.

Which file should I look at? and how do I change it?

your phone is running on at&t firmware, debrand the phone to set that button to the regular activity menu.
to do that flash ur phone with generic MAIN and FS.. read the tuts on debranding.

Can't I just change the code of the system file to point to the camera instead of medianet?


The problem is I don't know which file. I was looking at menu.ml but I think it doesn't relate to the button at all.


I don't want to debrand my phone. I actully like the at&t firmware plus I have already enable the flash theme and flash menu. So there's no point to debrand it ~

probably can be done by patching the firmware, AFAIK no such patch is available yet...
anyway, in order to patch the phone u need to debrand it, coz att firmware files are not available.
