These are some of the fonts that i came across for this cool phone. I intentionally created this thread since some db2020 fonts would not fit well with 176x220 resolution. These fonts would work well for db2020 phones with a 176x220 screen resolution. Many thanks to diezil for helping me.

If you have some fonts that would look good in this phone, feel free to post them here..Also, if you have some fonts that you want to be scaled down, just upload them and i'll try to reply as soon as possible.

About the fonts:
w610 original fonts.rar are the original fonts based on cent_europe FS

diezil's w610 scaled fonts 90%.rar is a ttf font scaled down to 90% by diezil. Very nice font!

Sony_Sketch_EF_205.rar is a font created by diezil. Check out more about that HERE

w610 original fonts rescaled to 80%.rar is the w610 original system fonts that i scaled down to 80%

The main reason why i posted smaller fonts is because i like to have smaller fonts for this phone, since in my opinion they are a bit too large. dont forget to upload to TPA\PRESET\SYSTEM\FONTS. enjoy!

I tried some of those and it looks nice.

But for some reason, that I can't understand, bold is not working as it should. Stuff that used to be bold is shown as regular and vice-versa. I've triple-checked fonts.xml and still happens.

I just put the original w610 and it's fine. If this could get done (the bold being right) I'd be happy to stop looking for fonts and using "80% or "90%". Can u check that? Or please send me the fonts.xml u used?

Example: sms text is all bold / contacts and menu has no bolds (all regular, and it should have bold for names and regular for numbers, for example) / pop-up messages should be bold for better reading and it's regular / walkman is all regular.

hmm.. that's strange.. all i did was rescale them, and yep, i checked fonts.xml, the files were correct..

try to test this then, i did a 90% resized font but a bigger version for bold..

The phone handles fonts a little weird......

I don’t fully understand them myself yet, like they read them from the bottom to top.... Page and Glyph, if you adjust the metrix and go to write new sms, then symbols you'll notice its always the top row that are miss formed or cut off (you may have noticed if you have ever tried using PC font files)....

The phone also switches what font to use in certain sections of the phone depending on the size's, the Clock next to the battery, the time and date and text popup boxes (Predictive text boxes when in sms, not the popup menu's) all use bold (just the ones I've noticed), but if the character's edge is at that size where its bordering on the pixel grid it will switch to regular to fit better.

You could try upping/lowering the size by 2/3% to try move the edge of the character so its not so close to the pixel grid but would need testing to get it to show correctly

I use my font Butter.... all look fine in my K610... contact name are bold, number not bold, message bold....

i love this font , now if i can just add more fonts to my phone.... and i know this may be a dumb question but how to make fonts.xml?

Download a default one and compare to another modded one and you will see.
