I have a w810i
As per the instruction in the post http://forums.se-nse.net/lofiversion/index.php/t7330.html
I followed the steps as mentioned.
I got into XS and flashed the main with w810_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw
Then it did not complete ,I waited for almost 3-4 minutes then as per the instructions I removed the battery and then insterted it again.
Then I launched Far with SEFP 10.0.5.1 with patch
chose the boot script w300_w810_z550_cid49
and then went to the /ifs/settings/acoustic and backed up a copy of fone files and added the files from acoustic(rufinus v3)
-->> While adding the drivers for acoustic inbetween the far manager hung, I waited for nearly 10 mins and then restarted the far manager and then copying of the acoustic files to the folder /ifs/settings/acoustic
also went to /ifs/settings/ but could not find the camera folder so created one and added the camera drivers.
Also tried to check for the /ifs/settings/messaging/ folder but could not find it.
however made the following changes
/tpa/messaging
/tpa/messaging/sms
/tpa/messaging/sms/msg
/tpa/messaging/sms/FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
/tpa/messaging/sms/FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF/pending
/tpa/messaging/sms/FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF/sm
/tpa/messaging/sms/FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF/sr
/tpa/system/messaging/sms

I know that the file /ifs/settings/messaging/pref_store.txt is important but I could not find it.
there is no folder like messaging in settings.

Now when I finished everything ,and restarted my fone it starts and i get a white screen and it stays there.

Guys please help what has gone wrong.

I understand that this trick does not wrok...but now that my phone is dead can you please help me in some way to recover it

You mean the MAIN FIRMWARE or FLASH FILESYSTEM?

Main. after flash fake main into your phone you must flash your Main firmware to restore it. learn to use JDFlasher if u like using far manager so you'll never need to use a fake main again

After that happened I tried to flash the Main again but in vain , then I tried the fake flash and tried to dectect my fone on far manager but far could not dectect the fone...
There is also this error which i get in while reading the GDFS.I do not have a backup of my GDFS...
