Hello,

First time poster. I've spent hours reading the great info in this forum--thanks for all your work!

My question: when I upload a flash menu to my debranded w580i, does it replace the existing default menu so that it is always present regardless of the theme I set? Or is it attached to a certain theme?

Example: I want to upload the City Beat Blue flash menu. When uploaded, does it replace my existing menu even if I have a different theme set, or does it only appear when I set the City Beat Blue theme?

Thanks!
Corman
It will appear with all themes you've set to use it. In your example, if you have Citybeat Blue set to use that flash theme, it will use it. When using themes not defined to use your flash theme, your normal menu will show up.

Oh, so the City Beat Blue theme is probably programmed (defined) to use the flash menu? Or is this something I have to do manually?

As of right now, I am using the CB theme but have not uploaded the CB flash menu, so it still uses the normal menu.

Thanks for the quick reply!

It depends, if you download themes from the internet, they'll probably not use flash themes. Themes you find here in the forum will probably be designed to use the flash menus. Try uploading a flash menu, and see if the theme uses it. You should put it in tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash.
