So my W600i got smashed on set and I just got it replaced with the W580i and I noticed that a lot of stuff is now limited. Especially with selecting my music as my ring tone, if At&t think that I am going to pay for theirs, they have another thing coming. So that is why I searched in the 1st place but now that I am here, I got excited at the possibilities of what my new phone "can" offer.

What I would like is a VKP Patch like the megapatch for the 850i, does one super patch exist for the 580i? If not I need to fix:

1. Take off the 600k limit for ring tones
2.Free up my mobile email to pick other providers (i have my own webpage and email)
3. Any other suggestions that you might have, since I don't know everything that my phone can be capable of.

more than a megapatch..it looks as if u need to debrand ur phone...flash ur phone's firmware with a generic main..and a region specific FS

i just got my w580 from att, its branded wt att firmware and frankly speaking the firmware sucks. so i debranded it to generic. alls good now
