I downloaded the following files for flashing my firmware
K800_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_RED52
K800_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52

Are these files correct according to my phone ??
Which custompack should i choose so that i dont get any configuration error... the CDA102511/183 is not listed in topsony's CDA list.. ??
Info : My phone has no brands (Vodafone etc.)

These files are fine, when it comes to customising just tick customise file system and select europe_2 from the drop down list

K800i has a newer Firmware!

or upgrade it to k810i

Yeah.... these files r fine... i chose europe_2 from the drop down and it worked....
but the problem was that my phone asked me to put in the correct sim....
i tried many different custompacks... no use... the flashing went smoothly every time and it always asked me to insert correct sim...
then i searched a bit and found the simox's patch (sim lock) and followed the complete procedure...
It worked im happy after my first upgrade... he he....
Now i have a K800i with R8BC004 firware along with the w880i acoustics... m lovin it....

i flashed my fone with the following :

K800_R8BC004_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED52.fbn
K800_R8BC004_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn

and i used the built-in cent_europe custom pack from the drop down menu of xs++. all went fine but there r a few bugs.... help me out:
the videos do not play in the thumbnail mode ??
the text on top of images (such as 3/15) is very huge??

what shud i do???

flash again!!

Has anyone tried the new firmware... it might be a bug (number1 thot so and so do i)....
m talkin bout the big text on top of the images....

regarding the video thumbnail movement , can i know which all firmwares do really support that ???
