ive just bought this mobile off ebay for my son but its locked to asda network.went to a place that unlocks phones but he could not do mine can anyone help me in this matter please cheers

First of all connect your phone to XS++ or SE Tool lite to find out your CID.
Since it seems to be a new phone it's very likely that the CID is higher than 49 and unlocking therefore impossible for free.

Yup, but not for DB2010/12 higher than CID49

I have no idea but I was in the local store the other day and read a leaflet its backed by Vodafone and the tarrif aint that bad if the data charges were better I'd switch myself.
