here's a complete guide on how
ur going to add a language on ur phone.,

my phone is w800 ribc002
it is also compatible with k750

Step 1:
download ur Language Pack here:

and get the infos bout ur language pack here:

Step 2:
Connect ur phone with Far Manager

Guides on how to Use Far Manager:

USB Flash Driver:

Step 3:
go to FS/tpa/preset/system/language

copy/backup the lng.dat & lng.lst file in ur computer
then delete the lng.dat & lng.lst in Far Manager

Step 4:
copy ur Language file

e.g.
tl.lng & and the .t9 file
in the language folder

Step 5:
copy and edit allowed_language.txt to ur computer

that contains like this



insert the code of ur language that has been added.,

e.g.
en, ar, fa, fr, ru, tl,

tl was the language in my example in Step 4

when u are finish with this.,
save the .txt file then copy it to the language file again.,

Step 6:
go to FS/tpa/preset/custom

copy and edit ur customize.xml

e.g.



change it to ur language code then hit save.
copy it to FS/tpa/preset/custom

and ur added language will be in ur phone now.,
it works 100%.,

hope this one will help our w800/k750 users in adding there
languages.,

It doesn't work for my w580i.
(I didn't master reset but I'm scared to do it)


There is other way to add it.

1. Flash the FS (don't put the custpack yet)

2. Use Far Manager to add your selected language/s (tpa\preset\system\language)

3. If you have your selected custpack, you edit it.

4. Upload the custpack by using XS++

5. It should works (I haven't try it yet)

copy the allowed_language.txt in ur computer
then edit it with notepad.,

just add the code of ur added language
with a comma., hit save then
copy it to FS/tpa/preset/system/language

I haven´t make MASTER RESET!

the problem is that i don't have any allowed_language.txt into my language folder

You must connect with FarManger
JDFlasher is good!
Only JDFlasher can se th allowed_language.txt
XS++ can´t see this and can´t edit!

Afaik, for unflashed phones, a master reset is needed.

Master Reset isn´t good for me!
Then came again the f*** K700 Error!

Alright, guys, As I can see, a FS+MAIN reflash is needed to add languages on the newer phones... I'm not sure on that one though... but it seems like...

His problem was his Phone Name turned into K700, while his phone being K800 after having done a Master Reset.

I see, this should be fixed through Customize.xml....

I heard that someone said that you can rename your favorite .lng.

For example, you have 11.lng, 22.lng, 33.lng, 44.lng.
your favorite is 99.lng, so you don't want 44.lng

then you rename 99.lng to 44.lng (don't forget to delete original 44.lng)

Yes i had make a Master Reset!
Then My phone has a K700i Phone Status but all works cam all

I did it a while ago and worked me.
Added PB.LNG and PT.T9 and today I delete:
de.lng, de.t9, fr.lng, fr.t9, pb.lng, pt.t9, st.lng, tr.lng, tr.t9 without problem.

Renaming the files can cause problems.
First I tried to add the language renaming the files but some applications stop working.



In my first attempts were putting the files XX.LNG and XX.T9 in capital letters.
Then put the files in lowercase letters and worked.
Try it.

where can i fing the lng files for w810i? i tried www.iprotebe.cz. but there are no files for 810i .

Use the ones from W800/K750, afaik lang files are the same... or...

This does not works on K750@W800.
When I put the languages in my phone, in the language menu, there is only one language, English.
I think that I made all steps, and I have no result.

2) and you must known not all language and T9 in ENATHER Language Pack`s will display in you`r phone. This info may be in GDFSS or else...

Select BFS then you will have access to File System
That for the K810, but I believe it is the same to your phone

@w.junior, thnx... Try bfs instead of bflash for patch... Try it just now. And it works fine... Can copy directly to PC.no 0kb anymore. Do u know how to add symbols? I mean the extra symbols when we want to use the symbols in typing an sms etc....when my hp use the k610i firmware(before i flash it to w660i and its fw is APAC) , it have many symbols.. When i flash with w660i fw, the symbols is gone. How can i get it back? Adding the language files?

I think some thing is up with the iprotebe.cz server. It stops downloading about halfway. I found the same file in a willy1991's torrent. But it doesn't have the en.lng, only en.t9

I know that the smiles are at MAIn and you can change through GFX patches, but I do not know how to add them. Or the symbols.


What languages you have on your phone? Maybe work.

Or try open K610 and W660 language file in LNG Editor and add the symbols.

am renamed arabic langauge to
RUSSIA & Farsi & French
in W800 EMEA6
after add to cell phone
all menu looks in arabic

Dude, i'm gonna go crazy from this... my dad asled me to change the language and add Romanian so he can understant his phone better(W800) and i've tried the tutorial, but nothing seems to work... i've added the ro.lng (no T9 here, but no biggie), i've modified the "allowed_language.txt" and modified the "customize.xml" file, exactly how you said here... no results, i've ended up with English ONLY in my phone language menu.. what can I do? trust me, i've even changed the whole language pack with EMEA4 (Bulgarian, Russian, Hungarian, Romanian and English) and modified the pack name in "customize.xml", but nothing...
