ive tryied to unlock(patch) & debrand k800i and i followed step by step the turtorials but phone is bricked.
k800i R1CJ002 Vodafone uk. Flash was stopping on: ....activating GDFS.... and nothing. First time i used se update service and tryied again. Then i bricked the fone. After that i was trying everything - change custom pack, flash with setool and finalize with X++, flash S++ and finalize with setool with different customizations.

well, i flashed the pone, but it wasnt unlocked. It was working but was still locked on the first time, actually it stopped at some point, but se update recover the fone (to new softwarre version). Then i tryied again and that what happend......

Its alive now and what more interesting unlocked. I repeted the procedure but ive changed finalization file and its working.
I flashed k800i using setool lite but after i finalized it went daed again. So next time after flashing using setool i finalized usin XS++. Its working now.
I dont know whats wrong with setool lite, why i couldnt finalize. The only option i can see is finalization file corrupted (XS++ has got its own files - i think).

Hmm.. you can use xs++ to do a full flash.... it's very easy with that and you can flash the MAIN,FS and Custom pack in one go...
