Error: Cannot open phone communication port

what is this?

i turn off phone, withdraw sim..and memory card...
then i open xs++ and insert USB to my phone..and press connect...but xs++ cant connect to my phone

i download my phone USB drivers, but i dont know how can i install USB drivers!!!!

plz tell me!!

You only need to post once, constant posting pi**es people off and you will get banned, Right, You click connect first then hold the c button on your phone then connect the cable, This should help you out, and in the future dont spam the board.

use these drivers, its an easy install with an .exe

yea dont forget to hold C... its right there in the instructions that xs++ provide you!! doh...

i get the same problem but i am holding down the c button

i click on connect then hold down the c button while connecting it to the computer but im getting the same error as he described pls help

go to control panel , system ,hardware, device manager n when u plug ur phone in there should be a port showing with a yellow question mark right click this an click up date drivers then select the drivers u want to install and u will now be ready to connect your phone

That's not an .exe driver package...

As I can see, your problem is the drivers....

BTW; remember to take your battery out for 10 min... take it in again... HOLD C and connect phone while its turned off..

how about Generic Flash Driver...
i can't install USB Driver...Generic Flash Driver error when i connecting cable...

Why not just download and install sony ericsson update service(SEUS),doesnt that supposedly have all the drivers that you will need for far,phone xs,xs++ and all the other flashing programs

Hmm. Ive heard this before, the one who also had this problem, did not get it solved, try googleing it for more info...
