Hey, I was wondering how I could go about flashing my w800i (with AT&T) to the w810i. I searched for similar topics but couldn't find any, and google didn't help me much either. So I was wondering if someone here could help me by telling me the steps to flash my w800 to a w810 with use for AT&T in America. Also, would the phone lose any personal information, or what not? Thanks in advance!

u cant flash w800 to w810 because they have different hardware and platforms...

Yeah, it wont work coz w800 has different hardware than w810 (not like K750 --> W800, it can be done coz the hardware are the same but only different in the firmware).

you can flash w800 with a special main and fs from w810

its a modded firmware and fs that some guy modded so i would work on w800 it works great but not completly bugfree

also i have to mention that if that guy is able to this kind of think i will donate him/her to mode w850 fw in order to have k810@w850 (may be w950!)

That "Some guy" what probebly just joking about the w810 firmware. I think it is just like al these youtube movies. It looks like another phone, but it is just modded. For example the W800 that would have W900 firmware. But in fact he just had the W800 R1L002 for the flash support, and modded the customize.xml.

aww man. scots think about it... we know that a w800 can't be flashed to w810i because no one is going to try it. so what's the point in leaving it open?

in our local area i think 1 person tried it and sucked up his fone.cant remember even if he repaired it.now he doesnt live here animore.
