after i flashed my w810 with a new firmware (using phoneXS , i dont remember which FW but i don't think it makes any difference) it started restarting randomly, especially when used a lot .
for example : i can't change like 5-6 themes consecutively without it restarting.
and by restarting i mean ... the screen suddenly goes White then black then white again then the menu appears and the phone is functional.

but it's not a full restart i think because it doesn't ask pe for the PIN code or the phone lock code, it just restarts.

i wouldn't want to do that because i went through hell once trying to flash it (brute force thing worked like the 5th time i tried. ..) is there any newer software around ? i haven't checked these things since march 07 and don't know about newer versions of phoneXS ... or other FW flashing software. anyway i think i'll eventually end up flashing it again because i can't stand it restarting like this.


oh and if anyone has the original w810 acoustics driver and can upload it somewhere i'd be so happy because the new driver i installed lowers the sound's quality, but it raises the volume ..

do you have patches in the phone? what happens to your phone is that it crashes. try re-flashing your main. here's the original acoustics Click to view attachment

thanks, downloaded it now, i'll flash my phone today. i told you last time i flashed my phone was like a year ago (march 07) so i didn't know about the new versions of XS++ , anyway flashing without bruteforcing seems great.

oops , today it did the thing again . Am I doing something wrong ?

W810_R4ED001_FS_EUROPE_5_RED49.fbn

should i try other firmware ?

nothings wrong with that combination.
