hey guys im tryin to upload some nice flash themes to my w580i however the file i downloaded only has like a .swf file in it. i put it in the flash folder it doesnt work i cant even find it in my phone. then i put it in themes...this time it shows but i can only view it and not use it. i heard u have to have the .thm file in the themes folder to direct the .swf so it could work. if so how do u do dat? how come theres only a .swf in there and not also the .thm file. a tutorial would b great. thx guys.

there's been numerous tutorials and threads on this topic... just browse through the Customizing Firmware/UI section..

Anyways to use a flash menu, you need two things...
1. The flash menu file .swf which you put inside the phone FS using XS++ or FAR manager and you cannot see it now. Hence make sure you know the exact filename with extension .swf. I assume you know where to put it in the Phone FS. If not then there are tutorials here for that too...

2. Take a theme file of your choice. You need to edit this theme file to point to the .swf lying inside the FS hidden from the outside.

It'll look difficult till you get it to work the first time...but once you get the hang of it, it's all pretty easy.
