Hi everyone! Just got my new k810i shipped from HK
It has traditional chinese and english writing language. the XS++ log is as follows:




However I want to use simplifed chinese instead. I flashed my FW with:
K810_R6BC002_MAIN_GENERIC_SM_RED52
and FS with:
K810_R6BC002_FS_APAC_RED52
and then used the cust pack:
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_101_R8A_GENERIC_APAC

this resulted in the writing lauguages indonesia and english instead! i also tried 202_R2A_GENERIC_APAC which didnt do anything at all.

What did i do wrong here??? can someone help to get simplifed chinese input on my phone?

afaik there are 3 supporting SIMPLIFIED CHINESE

these are the following packs


ANZ has these languages ... English - German - French - Dutch - Chinese simplified


CHINA has these languages ... English - Chinese simplified

CMCC has these languages ... English - Chinese simplified

you must find and use FIRMWARE that contain the information thats in BOLD above

this will give you Chinese simplified as a selectable language

the name APAC is very misleading. hehe

do i also have to flash with the corresponding FS and custom packs?
I dont recall seeing a CHINA/ANZ custom packs for the k810i anywhere? maybe someone can point me in the right direction if i need it?

try googling for these two files the MAIN and FS file system

K810 R1KG001 FS APAC RED52

The APAC is the FILE SYSTEM firmware you need and when you choose customisation you need to have one that has chinese simplified as one of the language options



Edit:- PASTED 2 main firmwares instead of one MAIN one FS!

i've found these 2:

and it worked!!!!

now ive gota customise menus and other stuff. hehe.
