I am giving a couple of W580s as gifts and I have been reading this forum and I see that I can use XS++ to unlock but I was wondering if I have to pay.

The 2 phones I have are both CID52 (Whatever this is) and will be used on TMobile (Phones locked to AT&T).

I was wondering where I would get the right files to unlock. If there is a link to a step by step tutorial, that would be great. I have browsed the web I have noticed that some pay services do not yet support phones with CID52.

Any help would be great.

Thanks. So what is the talk on varioous forums about flashing? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just want to be sure I do the right thing?

Am I allowed to ask if anyone can suggest where I can get this unlocked? WOuld prefer to do it over USB rather then sending it off somewhere.

You should best of all, get your unlock codes from the operator that you bought the phone from.. that is the best option, but not always the best one

The most services unlocks the phone by patch
