Full Version: Asking A Lot, K810 Iphone

Well I recently had a go on an iPhone at 02 and the first thing I fell in love with is the accelerometer, basically this makes it so when you turn the phone physically, the screen moves round with it, so it always looks the right way up.

I was hoping for something similar on my k810, I'm not stupid I realize this won't be possible using an accelerometer, however I was hoping instead of using that, you press and hold the joystick for a certain amount of time then the screen moves, for example holding the joystick left for 5 seconds and the screen turns to the left.

Does anyone think they could help me with this?

Thanks in advance thumbsup.gif

EDIT: Maybe you could just help me with what files would need to be changed and possibly some good programs to edit such files.

it would require a patch and we can't patch db2020 phones yet

As Number1 said, it would require patching.

But even if patching would be possible i don't think this could be done, since it would involve a lot of changes in the code. After all, rotating the display would require that and everything it shows (time, date, battery, antena power, ...) should be moved and rotated too, and i don't think that could be done by patches.

You could likely turn the screen upside down simply enough when patching is avalible but not to the side..
