I have succesfully debranded my k750i using xs++ and apac_1 firmware, BUT i have 1 problem.

After and only after the debranding instead of the Menu option in the standby screen, i have a live!cast button.
Plus i got a window with a text saying "Welcome! Would you like to receive new messages?"

It's really annoying ! It won't go away whatever i do.
I'm sure someone here knows the solution.

OK i found out that if i let the phone rest for a while , the "Welcome..." thingie goes off.
But the live!cast button still replaces the menu one.

Is there anyway to change buttons ?

and/or delete all "HOOK" files from "TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM", and do a master reset,

Also, after deleting the HOOKS, you should delete them from customize.xml (if they are present there)

and how do i do these stuff? Remember we're in the newb section

Alright, check my topic about UPLOADING/DELETING files with XS++v3.1, using that, navigate to TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM and delete the HOOK files from there

and the customize.xml ?

btw it seems i have just broken a lil part of the upper part of the phones screen...

.... sad...

And deleting the Hook files wont fix my problem.

fs i dont think i changed, main is APAC_1 CID36 REd

Well, afaik if you don't change FS you don't debrand.
You probably still have all that Operator sounds/themes/pics that you cant delete.

Dude, it's not the EROM you were meant to be looking for, it's the FS, file system. In your log, there should be something like 'flashing file system' if you have flashed it. That's what you need to mention.
