Hi!!

I have SE W830i phone..for which i havent yet been able to find the main and fs. i tried google and other forums and sites (4shared , iprotebe.cz , estato etc ) but no signs of it..i even requested it here on se-nse..in some other thread..but yet nothing was found...

I have seen the firmware on topsony though, but i dont have access to their downloading section..So can anybody plz help me get it. I shall be greatfull to you.

Correct me if im wrong but isnt this the same as the W850i?
if it is, the you could download the W850i firmware if you cant find any specific W830i firmware. If you know what i mean.

Though both the firmwares are named same i.e R1KG001..but both are quite different when it comes to 830 and 850..coz 850 is a 3G phone with 3.2 megapixel camera..while the 830 supports edge and has 2.0 megapixel camera...so basically i cant use 850's firmware...

The w850i is a 2.0 megapixel o.O
what sthe difference between 3G and EDGE?

basic difference...3G allows video calling EDGE doesnt...EDGE is basically 2.75G..due to slow data transmission rates!!
