Hello, can anyone help me how to expand the SmS storage of my k800i phone? it has only 1000sms limit.
Unlike k750/w800i that can reach to 30k bundles of messages.. thank you

to be honest im not sure why you want more. I know when my k800 is full then the inbox runs very slowly and this is very irritating. Im sure if the capacity was bigger then the problem would be worse......

I'm constantly at the 1000-msg limit and to be quite honest it's slower to delete old ones than it is to browse through the new ones. I'm all for an unlimiter, the CID36 method doesn't work on the k800 (def_pref_store.txt).

HERE you can find a tutorial about how to increase the SMS storage limit. But of course, you'll have to be carefull, cause the more messages you have, the slower it will be to show the list of SMS.
Besides, why don't you save your messages with MyPhoneExplorer, and leave on the phone just the ones that you really need ? i don't think you actually need more than 1000 messages on the phone :-)

N70 (and any N series phone in general) is slow by itself. You don't need 1000 SMSes to slow it down tongue.gif
