Hey all, Ive had my W580i for about a week now, and after hours and hours of reading up on this site, (yeah im a geek! )I have sucessfully debranded my phone from all of at&t's junk, enabled java menus, Added new walkman 2.0 skins and learned a hell of alot! I did all of this using XS++ 3.0, and the CustPacks/ Main/ and FS files from this site! (even got the walkman skins here)!

And I just wanted to say Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!!



Although, Im still running in to ONE problem! Ive dowloaded several pretty cool Java themes from here, Followed the tutorials word for word.. and I still cant get them to work! Im using XS++, so i get in to the FSX thing, then i go to the tpa\preset\system\desktop\flash folder where the existing themes are... and drag my .swf file over... disconnect.. reboot the phone and its not there... So I dug a little deeper... In FSX I found the folder that contains all the "file manager" files... cant remeber what exact folder it is and i dont have a screen shot.. but its where all the preloaded ringtones/picture etc. files are.. and there is a "themes" folder there... so i dragged an .swf file in to that one (the PSP blue one!) ... rebooted and it showed up in that folder! so i scroll through it, and click on it.. and instead of being able to SET it as a theme, i can only preview it!!! I can scroll through all the icons and everything! WTF! Also the icon next to it is different... the icon is a picture frame insted of the paint thing all the other ones have!!! Any thoughts or suggestions of what i need to do would be very much appreciated!!!!!!!!

u must edit the theme.xml which is inside .thm file to use flash menu that u uploaded...
here i attached a great tutorial on how to do that..
so when u upload flash menu (.swf) to tpa/preset/system/desktop/flash/.. and set the theme to use that flash menu (.swf) just send the theme (.thm) over bluetooth or cable to ur phone and when u set that theme it will use flash menu..

Yeaa, I was actually just looking at that tut. But the problem im running in to is.. the PSP blue theme I want, is only the .swf file... where do i get the .thm file from?? And once i get it in the phone, as i said, It wont show up in the normal directory, it will only show up in the "file direcrory" folder if I put it there, and it wont let me set it at all? Mabye im just missing something here!! Also, I cant get tugzip to work, I get a DLL error when i try to run the program?!!!

well u can make one ur self or google for PSP theme (or any other) and edit theme.xml..

Excellent, Got a few new themes and got them in to my phone sucesfully today!
