im a noob to flashing phones etc. i have a w850i on orange and tried to use XS++.. but when i tried to unbrand my phone i got configuration error. please contact your network operator or service centre. then i tried seking and totally screwed up my erom... but i have sorted that out and now im back to the please contact thing on ma screen... XS++ log:

You must get a "custpack" that matches your "CDA", and upload it to your phone through the "FSX" function into "TPA/PRESET/CUSTOM" folder

What do you mean by "unbranded things" ?

well in the menus i have "orange music" "orange internet" and hte shortcut menu is orange's custom menu... how do i go to SE's factory menus?

You need a generic FS and a custom pack google CDA list and you'll see what you need if in the UK as I am I go for Europe 2.
