Hi guys, first post after reading for a few hours.

Just wanted to know in the XS++ log i found the following info about CID49

QUOTE
19:36:44| OTP CID: 49
19:36:44| EROM CID: 49
19:36:44| EROM Color: Red

It asked to update to CID52 but I wasn't sure what it was. Is the the security/file system loaded on the phone?
I assume it's better to update to the 52 but just wanted to find the meaning before I start doing anything on the phone. Any response greatly appreciated.

Cheers guys,
Mark.

Its just fastness if you have CID 52 it's faster on phone xs++

but when i had my w810i cid49 i flashed in 2 mins

dont take any notice! its fine

i prefer CID49 than CID52. CID49 phones are in a way more moddable than higher CID phones because CID is the security of the phone. the higher the CID the more security. btw you can downgrade CID only upgrade. what phone do you have?
stevii
he has k800i says on the post smile.gif

thanks stevii & Ciggy.

Well i took my branded (Telstra AU) phone and decided to try my luck on SEUpdate as I thought when branded it will not update. It has downloaded and updated the software as below (left original and right is now)

Not quite sure why the two CID's differ? So I guess what I actually got is the upgraded firmware for telstra branded phones in my region? If so, off to firmware pages to work out the one to re-flash with.

One last question. Is there anywhere on the site that lists some form of changelog's or timeline for k800 firmware. How would I know what the earliest and latest (best?) version is to flash.

thanks so much guys.

edit: sorry my auto sig didnt stick with the info.

original: now:
OTP CID: 49 _____ OTP CID: 49
EROM CID: 49 _____ EROM CID: 52
Firmware:R1ED001_____ Firmware: R1KG001

seus has updated ur cid from 49 to 52 and given you the newer firmware, cid:52 is a more stable stronger erom u can use all the newest firmware now and flash to a k810i if u want 2. the newest k800i firmware is R8BA024 not avaible on seus yet but should be soon
