Full Version: Tired of Loose Battery Covers?

I am fed up with my w810's battery cover. Every time I text etc., it loosely clicks in and out (not off, but just like 1 cm out and in). Recently, I was so fed up with it, I searched for a way to fix it. The fix? Stick a business card over the battery as far as you can- it gives it a tighter fit, and prevents it from slipping in and out. Later when I have more time I'm going to get some business card paper and print a battery design on it and then adhere it to my battery so it stays in extra good =D BTW, you don't think the paper will light on fire, do you?

[EDIT] Plus, if you use your own Business card, and you lose your phone, all the credentials are right there so the person that finds it (if they're nice) will be able to contact you/ deliver it to your house)

Too late for me, I already lost my battery cover while on holiday. sad.gif

Simple fix to stop the battery falling out: I put an old memory card up there from my old Nokia 6230. tongue.gif

GLUE??? Since when do I want to permanently seal the battery cover? The SIM Card would be impossible to take out then... plus, I don't want to do anything permanent to it.

I used a K700i yesterday and the cover was so loose that I took a paper and stuck it between the cover and battrey, now it's almost impossible to open, I think this is much better smile.gif

Well, lets just hope you DONT do something silly like break the screen on your phone, or you suddenly need a new battery, cos how are you gonna fix it then?
Haloza

Hmm, you are possibly right, but, do you know if glue is immune to fire ? If its not, then the thing you mentioned above, is not a problem smile.gif

Mr. Thunderbird: Why would I take fire to my phone?!?! And a business card... not like a credit card lol. All it has is your name, address, phone number and the company you work for.

yes i am as the batt cover is at the base and but just holding it you can't slide it you have to push it down and forward with abit of force to open it. and it also has a clip so when you do open it nothing can fall out unless you unto the clip. The simcard and m2 is also there and they won't fall out unless you push them all the way down then the pop up and and come out. It's a very good way they made it.

My w800 battery also loose but it was fix when I accidentally sit on it. The battery cover bend a little bit inside but not visible much. Outside also not showing any flaw. Save me from buying a new housing. thumbsup.gif
