is it possible to dissemble the black version of hpm-70? I have only managed to remove the first plastic part, so you can see the copper connectors.
eyeyousee
Yes of course, it has the same connections. But why do you want to remove it?
joka90
Because the cable to the headset bean damaged and I need to resolder it

Hi there, is it possible you could help me 'fix' my headphones to my Sony adapter please? I just want to connect the headphone wires to the correct wires on the adapter, it doesn't have to look professional, I just want it to be correct and safe.

The wires are unbelievably small! On each headphone wire there are what looks like ground copper wires and colour coded wires, Orange for the right ear piece and Green for the left one.

On the Sony adapter it looks like there are 5 coloured wires, Orange, Green, Blue that attach to the 3.5mm socket and Gold and Red that attach to the 'Call' button on the adapter.

Thanks for any advice

If i have an old (say p910) handsfree kit in my car and would like up upgrade it to fastport, changing cradle an resolder all cables according to the pin-out schemes, would that work or do i need to fiddle around with resistors to make it work ?
