Ive been looking around at the notion of flashing the firmware on my phone since i used TOTAL MultiServer a year or so back, this was when i came across this wonderful place. =] .

I Just need some advice from someone who knows what they are doing as i am unsure.

Ive got a S/E K700i , from a vodafone contract, its been previously unlocked with total Mulitserver, its running

(This hasnt been changed, its all as Vodafone made it).

Ive downloaded XS++ and have an old version of Phone-XS. I also have SETools aswell. Im using a DCU-11 Cable to connect the phone, but i also have a DSS-20 Sync Stand.

Unfortunatly it seems none of the applications can see the phone, and im to my wits end trying to research/find out why .

Also if i can get it running, i would most likely need some advice from someone who knows on how to and what files to use.

Do you have USB Flash Drivers installed?

Hello mate, thank you for the quick reply.
I am trying to get them installled on vista but not happening with a dss25 stand..
Will boot XP now where I have already done the Z710 - w710 conversion using the cable...I hope it should work there.

Do you know if the USB flash driver is the same for teh dss25 stand and the cable? I don't see any info related to DSS25...

it doesn't work. I just modified the dss driver files to use the services from the semc flash stuff instead of the SE update services...though I don't think it will work.

I can't even do a SE normal update using the DSS25. I have double checked the port availability and still nothing...
If somebody can help be my guest. I'm now closing 9 hours trying to make that :censored: work and have run out of clues.
