What may have happend
well it started when i tryed recovery on my cid36 w800i and i flashed and it all went wrong...

the fone wouldnt turn on at all and the computer was the only thing that would be able to view it

What you Need
*Cruiser cable (for certain bits most can be done without but is quicker with service cable)
Google for these
*Far manager 1.70 with sefp 1.0.40 and 1.0.51 and cid 49 package (cid 49 package not really needed but youll probably get it with far)
*Universal Simlock Remover for cid36 - Setool2 lite v1.06 for cid49 and after where you flash gdfs with sonics below flash it with this instead for cid49 and after
*XS++ v1.2 (not 1.5 as it is too buggy atm)
*Erom from below - thanks to number1
*Firmware from xsse.4shared.com pass = se-nse

What to do (For w800/k750 but will work for others (you need to get an erom in the place of the one used here though))
1. Run USR and scroll to sonyericsson (not sony and not ericsson) and select sony ericsson lg and sharp sonics and click start. Sonics will start
2. YOU NOW NEED YOUR CRUISER CABLE - Click connect sonics and the insert the w800/k750 to the cable and click write gdfs
3. direct it to the gdfs file (get a .bin from iprotebe or xsse.4shared.com as these work better) and click flash or open (or similiar)
4. wait for it to complete.
5. Open far and press alt+F1 press 0 for sefp and choose your cable - fone - and fastest speed you can use
6. Press enter the matrix and double click flash
7. On the otherside of Far manager direct it to the gflash folder and go in to BIN Erom and drag the erom into flash
8. Click copy and then select babe and set the start to 4400 0000 and len to 0002 0000 and click flash (or similiar) then just click yes to the warning that appears
9. In less than 10 seconds it will be complete
10. press f10 and click yes to close far manager - disconnect fone and remove battery, wait and reinsert after 10 seconds
11. Choose the cable and highest speed and click connect.
12. Under flash select flash main and choose your main needs to be right cid
13. select flash fs and choose the fs (needs to match main emea and eu will match and any eu will work together eg 1 and 5 and any emea will work eg 1 and 2
For w810 go to step 15
14. select customise fs and choose your fone and choose the same cust pack as the fs (if it isnt there or you are using w810 skip to step 15)
15. Click flash
16. When complete disconnect the fone, take out the battery for 10 seconds and re-insert. Now reconnect sonics and then connect the fone (with cruiser cable) and select Unlock/Repair if it fails instll the erom then gdfs then erom then try this again
17. Now go back and flash all the firmware again (as stated above) remember to take out your battery for 10 seconds and then your done

* If you are using a w810 or your custom pack wasnt there you need to redo steps 1 and 2 but choose fs not flash and copy the contents or your service pack to tpa > preset > custom Not into tpa > preset > custom > drm
double click all the '..' at the top untill you get shut down cs loader and click yes now press f10 and agree to shut down far manager now proceed to steps 16 and 17.

** To completely debrand your fone to get rid of network operater logos and menus and restriction and to enable flash lite (only on some fones) the use generic firmware and (when customising with xs++) choose dont upload se wap links underneath the drop down box with cda's in

i hope this solves a lot of problems and people leeve their feedback.

good guide but u flash the gdfs before u flash the erom u might want to change this on the guide
i have attached a clean k750i gdfs and a cid:36 red erom so u no longer need gflash

i have a small doubt.. i read here in many topics that the gdfs is a unique thing for every phone.. so wont there be any prob if write another phone's gdfs into ours????

if its a clean gdfs eg. the clean k750i gdfs it wont matter as it wont use the other fones imei and user pin codes etc so i recommend getting it from www.iprotebe.cz as most if not all there gdfs are clean

one without imei or any info for another fone eg. the k750i gdfs above can be used in any k750i as it is not pulled out of 1 fone eg. it is compatible with all mobiles under same model

but USR don't support w300......

Just to say that it will NOT work with W810, tried several times with a MultiServer service cable.

sonics is for cid36 (check cid in title which i tried with) use setool2 lite for cid49

isn't it just possible to do all this without service cable, or just using a normal cdu-6o cable? isn't there a way to modify a dcu-6o cable to a service cable? plus i have a w810i that is bricked

about modding the dcu60 and using dcu60 instead oi have no idea with your bricked w810 then use the tutorial butt use setool2lite v1.06 instead of sonics

so isnt it possible to do this without a service cable?

Then if the cruiser cable was needed just to write the gdfs, and if setool2 lite can do that with the normal dcu-60 cable then it should work.

if phone is dead and no backup of GDFS is available then phone is forever dead ??

yes unless you have (or your local phone shop has) access to a full (non-cracked) setool 2 with UFS box. it is because full setool 2 can rewrite gdfs of any phone.

dcu-60 or dcu-65 should work. just stick to the tutorial and it will work
