This is for the people who want all the mods I know of for W810 (=all ) instantly. Saves you from looking around

This contains my modded cust pack with new features. This replaces my modded cust pack IMHO.
I based the idea on Da_G's cingular pack. For all you Americans who want to have the Cingular features but want to break free of the restricions, I recommend you check it out @ howardforums.

THIS IS FOR NEW FLASHES ONLY.

What this pack does:
-Unbrands the phone
-Enables flash menus
-Supress camera shutter sound in silent mode
-Installs the halmer cert for no java permisisons (apps have to be signed yourself though)
-Installs Sarmad's 4.81 camdriver (My favourite one for W810 because it's based on W810 4.5) - This one is superceded by Sarmad's 5.6 (not included)
-Installs a lot of flash menus
-Installs Toshara's Shutdown/Startup screens
-Puts thin fonts everywhere
-Installs EFR for making calls in bad reception areas
-Installs Battery Menu
-Installs TechMode
-Lets you choose between Horizontal + Vertical activity menu (thanks nkls for a great mod)
-Inverts the sleep mode clock colours
-Increases the Walkman fastforward speed (part of MAIN)
-Smaller Now Playing font (also affects many other areas, dont flash this MAIN and use this layout.xml if you hate small fonts)
-Makes the sound louder (This was a custom acoustic pack with many tweaks I found on the internet. I think it is good for beginners)
-SonyEricsson + PlayNow links present
-Custom Model Name, edit customize.xml to put your own in where it says PIMPED W810.
-Many many languages
-Lots of customize.xml tweaks.

How to install:

You need to have the Far + SEFP + XS++ installed and working.

1. Flash the FS with: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=CCYUF9RR (This is EUROPE_2, your own FS can be used but then customize.xml has to be modded)
2. Flash the far breakin loader and connect to the phone with SEFP (thanks to pisanggoreng)
3. Download my mod pack from:

4. Extract the rar file and upload the extracted files to the root of the phone.
5. Flash the MAIN with : http://rapidshare.com/files/29857584/W810_..._Patch.bin.html
- This will not finish flashing on the last block. Wait a min and then stop flashing.
6. Switch on the phone and wait to customise.

Warning: This takes quite a bit of phone memory up. I recommend to delete the languages you dont need (use the language table to do it; http://www.topsony.com/forum/cmps_index.ph...=info_lenguaje and move the themes to memory card + delete the flash menus you dislike (you can view the swf on computer).
ALSO: If you cannot use Far ; you MUST NOT use a custom phone name because then you wont be able to upload through XS++. Thanks to Signature_Boy for finding that one out .

DO NOT FLASH THE MAIN; IT IS MESSED UP. USE SETOOL2 Lite.

P.S I may make update packs . If anybody has anything they want to add; post it up and I'll link here.

I would recommend it as the layout.xml works with that main.

but the sms fonts (when writing) are too small for my eyes. any suggestion on how to increase the sms font size?

I'm not actually sure .

I modded 3 things to do with fonts
-No playing patch (which affects font in other areas)
-Layout.xml
-Sms Font patch (I'm not actually sure if this on works)

Flash just the original MAIN and see how it goes then. If its still the same, its the layout.xml

the main firmware it used to be .mbn and here it's in bin !!!

So? MBN + Bin are the same thing.

Flash with the right FS that has the Arabic language, edit the customize.xml to the right cda and add:
<allowed-language>ar</allowed-language>

The sms font patch I dont think is working anyway. I just slide that one in the hope of it changing something. But the walkman speed patch should be working.

You have to use the W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn as the file to slide from. Use header_db2010_344_blocks and slide in the patches in the following order:
-Faster Walkman fastforward patch
-NowPlaying patch (I tested both 14B + 16B sucessfully)
-SmsPatch.

Gslide should produce a file called flash.bin. Flash that as the MAIN file.

I dont really recomend this for APAC flashes TBH.

Is it possible to slide R4ED001 with no errors? Cause that's the revision I have and I'd really like to have those 2 (now playing and fast forward) patches on my fone...

EDIT: @TopSony they've got FS as R4ED001 and MAIN as R4EA031... Does that mean I can use an already slidded MAIN R4EA031 (with those 2 patches) in my W810? Are these FS and MAIN versions compatible?

I've transformed your MegaMod Pack(acoustic files, I replaced the costumization with CENT_EUROPE, I deleted a few language from my costum pack and I've uploaded anothers and I edited costumize.xml) and I've got a costumization "error"!
In the software info at the costumization section i've got this:

I ask because I want to flash my main with W810_R4EA031_Patched, which supposedly has now playing font fix and fastforward - too biggies in fixing my walkman! Can I do so safely (with PhoneXS++)?

You can use those 2 flashes together but IMHO I would rather have them the same version. You can tell they are compatible with each other because R4EA supports R4ED's language files.



You musnt have flashed the MAIN properly. Try it again. If it still dont work, try with an original firmware.



Use a CENT_EUROPE FS and modify that. Alternatively, use my language update pack. I'm sure it has the CENT_EUROPE languages in it.

I did say UK MAINLY. I dont have time to go around editing every single FS file I find (and believe me I found a lot (check the languages...) ). If you want to use a diiferent custom pack, edit it properly. I got my important exams now.The best compromise I can find is the language pack (which I've updated). If you dont like it, then dont use it.

@Avalon ... yes its the same, i have that too, no problem.. R4ED001 is just the FS but your main is really R4EA031 no worries

qwerty.. did you get a chance to see if that sms patch is really workin or not?

and here's my challenge to all the genius modders.. if you can make a patch that lets us move folders around.. as in, we can use /card or /usb/other or something for acoustics and camera drivers, then i'll send you $10 on paypal as a prize. no joke! offer good to the first person who can do it. go for it! im hoping a bit of money is an extra motivation to get it done hehe.. cuz seriously that would be an awesome patch.. any other cool patches that I find neat like FM without headset or whatnot i'll give like $5 maybe. come on folks, get patching!

Yep, I tried flashing and sliding the sms patch 2 times. no difference.

Actually the patch exists but GSlide wont flash it properly (I tried with the dispdriver0.dat one. I didnt put a new dispdriver0.dat file in the "new" location because I wanted to see if it would work. My phone still came on which meant it didnt work (I was expecting a white screen because the location of the dispdriver would have changed).

+ Also the fm without headet patch exists but doesnt work.

Your problem is that the CENT_EUROPE isnt designed for your region. Look at the orignal cent_europe customize.xml:

<allowed-language>hu</allowed-language>

I dont see RO in that list (trust me, I know my table of languages )

but why i've got a same error with yours? i readed too on softpedia that this error occurs from the absent of some files! and a man got this error after reflashing his phone with the patched main! take a look at your software information if you have that error present!

P.S: I just wanna help you to make a perfect ModPack

I dont know then. There is only the Generic MAIN for Europe and that is what I have used. If the phone works does it really matter? Besides my phone is in a reflash. If you need to get rid of the 63OW; then reflash the original files and use a original cust pack.

You can't really use this with an Asian firmware. There is too much changed and a lot of the stuff isnt available on the Asian firmware (namly the patches).
