hi

can anyone tell me if they've seen id3v2.4 tagged mp3s being read correctly by the phone?

ive seen problems where it splits the artist name and random poiints -- dont know if its the tagging s/w i've been using (taglib-based, running off linux)

cheers
ray

Bump. I confirm this bug. The bug seems to be related directly to the phone's firmware. The software that committed the tagging was Sound Juicer, which added a header through id3v2mux, utilizing taglib all from Ubuntu 8.04. The firmware appears to be in need of a constructive upgrade. I'm using the latest firmware available in my location.

I don't know if you mean that, but sometimes the phone "cuts" the title or artist or album, right? I had that too, e.g. "One More T" instead of "One More Time".
And I realised that when I opened it with MP3Tools (it's a mobile app), in ID3v2 in some songs title is l i k e t h i s. And before it there were to Russian signs. Can't write it, because I don't have Russian keyboard and I don't search for them in a Net tongue.gif But one is read as "you" and the second is read as "ya".
Simply change tags with MP3Tools and you've finished smile.gif
