Android 1.6 (Donut) added support for gestures but to date this has been hardly used by manufacturers or developers but we may be about to see something new from Motorola which makes big use of it.

The "Motus" was spotted on a Motorola roadmap a few weeks ago and was expected to be a device similar to the CLIQ/DEXT, however, new information suggests this device my be a little different with a feature know as a "reverse flip keyboard".

Taylor Wimberly over at Android and Me did a little digging and found out a few things including that Motus is latin for gesture (well, actually motion or movement according to my research but it's the right idea) so let's see how the Motorola Motus turns out.

Check out the article at Android and Me for more info.

Cheers,

Mik
